GIRLS ARE EAGLE SCOUTS!  One of our Scouts is the first to be a female Eagle in Western Massachusetts!

Girl Troop 180 offers the same program as boys have enjoyed for over 100 years, including the leadership and skills to earn the rank of Eagle.

We welcome girls from Ludlow and all surrounding communities. The only requirement is to be between 11 and 18 years old and have your parent's permission -- that, and a desire to discover not just the outdoors but what you are capable of!


We meet on Wednesday's from 6:00 to 7:30 pm either at St Elizabeth Parish's Pastoral Center or at our own camp. During most of the year the meetings are at Camp Falconer (442 Alden St here in Ludlow) but we move to the Pastoral Center during cold weather when the camp building is winterized.

We are currently on Wednesdays at 6pm at Camp Falconer every other week-- please email to be sure it's a week we are meeting!

Leadership:
Girl Troop 180 is led by adults with extensive experience in programs of the Boy Scouts of America. Troop 180's Scoutmaster is Cara Schneider (troop180G@scouts180.org). She and her assistant Scoutmasters have experience in boy troops, summer camps, and chairing events held in the Western Massachusetts Council.

The Troop is part of a family of Scouting Units that include Boy Troop 180, founded over 80 years ago. We share a common Troop Committee and resources that include Camp Falconer on Alden St. With our sibling units that also include Cub Scout Pack 180 and co-ed Venturing Crew 180 your entire family, from kindergarten thru 21 years, can participate in a Scouting experience.
